The Rainbow DCIP Pediatric Reusable SpO₂, SpCO & SpMet Sensor is a reusable pediatric finger sensor designed for advanced noninvasive monitoring using Masimo rainbow SET® Pulse CO-Oximetry technology. Intended for patients weighing 10–50 kg, this sensor supports monitoring of oxygen saturation (SpO₂), carboxyhemoglobin (SpCO®), methemoglobin (SpMet®), pulse rate, and perfusion index when connected to a compatible rainbow-enabled monitoring platform and rainbow RC patient cable.
Unlike conventional pediatric pulse oximetry sensors that measure only oxygen saturation and pulse rate, the Rainbow DCIP utilizes Masimo multi-wavelength rainbow technology to provide additional noninvasive assessment of carbon monoxide exposure and methemoglobin levels. The reusable finger-clip design is intended for repeated clinical use in emergency medicine, transport, critical care, hospital environments, and specialty care settings where expanded physiologic monitoring is beneficial.
