Unlike the standard Rainbow RC-4 patient cable, the EMS version incorporates Kevlar reinforcement to withstand repeated deployment, transport use, and the physical demands encountered by first responders, paramedics, and critical care transport teams. The 4-foot cable length is optimized for ambulance and transport environments where cable management is critical, while maintaining compatibility with rainbow and M-LNCS sensor families used with LIFEPAK and other Masimo-enabled monitoring platforms.
