The Masimo 4034 / Stryker 11996-000515 RD rainbow Adt 8λ SpCO Adult Adhesive Pulse CO-Oximetry Sensor is a single-patient-use adhesive sensor designed for advanced noninvasive monitoring using Masimo rainbow SET® technology. Intended for adult patients weighing greater than 30 kg, this sensor supports monitoring of SpCO®, SpMet®, SpO₂, pulse rate, perfusion index (Pi), pleth variability index (PVi), and respiration rate from the pleth waveform (RRp®) when connected to a compatible Masimo rainbow monitoring platform.
Unlike conventional pulse oximetry sensors that measure only oxygen saturation and pulse rate, the RD rainbow Adt 8λ SpCO provides expanded monitoring capabilities by enabling noninvasive assessment of carboxyhemoglobin and methemoglobin levels without the need for invasive blood sampling. The adhesive design helps maintain consistent sensor placement during monitoring, making it suitable for emergency medicine, critical care, transport, perioperative care, and hospital environments where rapid access to advanced physiologic information is required.
